The outer layer uses 100% polyester in a dense, fluffy texture that sits gently against the skin, while the inner lining combines 54% recycled polyester with 43% polyester and 3% spandex for a close, comfortable fit around the face and neck.

The button closure under the chin makes it quicker to put on and take off than a hood that pulls over the head, which matters when dressing a child who is already moving. The bear ears add a playful detail without affecting the hood's practical function, and the extended coverage around the neck removes the need for a separate scarf or neck warmer during nursery drop-offs, pram journeys and outdoor play.

The size range runs from 6 to 12 months through 4 to 5 years, covering infants through to older toddlers within the same design. The hood is not waterproof or windproof, so it works best as a head layer beneath a protective outer jacket during wet or windy conditions, or on its own for milder winter days when full weather protection is not required.
